Not if he did it before she got there.

Anyway, new episode. I <3 Sylar. But Mohinder is way lame.

Damn it, they replaced Veronica Mars with faux-Veronica Mars.

I really like how the first episode (actually first two) were really boring and annoying and then it got better again, just like the first season.

Why can't future Peter heal?

That was the speedy person. They just look ridiculously similar. El wasn't in this episode.

I was wondering this myself.

He can. But the Haitian was around when Claire shot Peter.

How come Futureclaire has lost her ability to act, but presentclaire still can (to some extent, anyway).

I didn't know the actors themselves could lose their abilities as the timeline jumps.

I want to know why future Peter(s) always have the same scar across their faces =/ Even though one is from when they failed to stop the bomb and the other one is from when they didn't. I was really expecting future Claire to cut across his face rather than his chest such that he would get the scar.

The Tracy/Niki/whatever the third one is called story is sort of frustrating. I heard the writers had intended on killing off Niki and discontinuing the character but then changed their minds and was like oh **** we wrote ourselves into a corner she couldn't possibly have survived that blast and then made up this random triplet crap which feels entirely retconned because Niki HAD a sibling (Jessica) and everything indicated that they were blood related. And now Micah is entirely irrelevant.

Anyways, last night's episode rocked. Sylar/Gabriel = awesome.

In the first season Linderman implied he'd put a lot of work into ensuring the conception of Micah, so Nikki stuff so far this season isn't entirely surprising.

I'm just about to throw in the towel on this show. I don't hate it, but it just isn't striking the chord with me now like it did in Season 1.

The only thing I liked in this episode was family-man Sylar potholing California. The acting is getting bad, the whole Tracy/Nathan scene was a bit deja vu, two Peters walking down the street together was odd, and the whole OH NOES DA PLANUT WILL DIE!!!!!1111 seems really forced. Just a lot of suck going on, imo.

Maybe things would have been different if the strike hadn't interfered, but I'm not sure I'll follow the show anymore.

Spoilers here for ep4 which was aired Monday. I am completely confused now. Why does peter want/need sylar's powers? He can have any power he comes in contact with, right? Also, how the hell could peter ever get a scar, he got claire's healing power so how could he ever get a scar? Also, how could sylar damage claire's brain so she doesn't feel pain when her body would just heal itself anyway? And if peter ever came in contact with the Haitian, can't he just negate that guys power anyway? They gave peter the ultimate power but I must have missed something because he's such a sissy and never uses it.

I like suresh's whole part, peter's is extremely confusing because of the whole, "sometimes I am superman" but "sometimes I am a whiny sissy with no power" thing.

The Haitian negates Peter's power before he can use it, hence he never gets the Haitians power. Presumably Sylar's ability (the understanding of how things work) allows him to prevent Peter from taking it, and Peter wants Sylar's ability because he needs to be able to understand the intricacies of events to be able to cause the right future to happen.

Yeah, this season is kinda iffy.

Theoretically, the scar could happen if peter's face was cut and healed (over time/weeks) with the haitian next to him the whole time.

Previous Future Peter said he left the scar as a reminder. It's not that he *can't* heal it, it's that he doesn't want to.

Peter couldn't take Sylar's power previously because he didn't understand what it really was. Can't use something if you don't know what it is.
