my one stroy that i got people to write for that never got finished. thread was called Finding a Door. it was awesome. i miss it. i ran out of ideas.

Mine was back in like 2001, the only time I ever "won" a thread. maevie (i think) posted a thread asking which was warmer, the pacific or atlantic ocean, and I said whichever one people peed in more. I think the thread was closed after that.

Looking back on my original post, I am a failure.

You're one of the intelligent witty folk that make excellent posts in debate threads. The caliber of your posts is generally so high that they alone make you great.

For me, it was a personal accomplishment to publish a JK level, years ago. The resulting "debacle" with my supposed "theft" of UT resources was amusing.

I've also destroyed Friend14 on more than one occasion. And with some style too, if I recall.

Some of the evolution and political threads got me to write great posts. Most are too old to still be on the forums, but I remember posts where I elegantly covered every possible angle of an issue and left my opponents with nothing more to add, effectively killing the thread :D
