I attended BSU, who beat the Oregon ducks this week, which was their first win in history against a BCS school on the road.

Well it threw Boise State into the top 25 so the ducks must not suck too much. :P

I think my school had a game tonight. I had to park away from the stadium anyways. It might have been some kind of block party though... I don't know.

USC was over rated. Everyone thought they were great because they beat Ohio State so bad... but last week we saw the truth : Ohio State just really, really sucks.

the social relevance of education-level sport in the US is very bizarre.

Hell, in football if we ever beat a #1 team, it probably wasn't in the last half-century... Closest we've came in modern times is beating South Carolina last year when they were #6.

In basketball though, we knocked off #1 Florida two years ago and #1 UT last year. I was there for both of those games. They were glorious times. I'm gonna miss those "free" student tickets.

I graduated from Northwestern, who beat #6 Ohio State in overtime my freshman year and will beat Iowa today.

I'm a member of the County College of Lancaster University, and our college song is:
"County boys, we are here
Shag your women and drink your beer
In the day time, night time, any time at all
County boys will always pull!
"

Followed by all the girls singing the same song, replaying 'boys' with 'girls' and 'women' with 'men', to which the boys respond but louder, ad infitium. We're a highly sophistocated college.

RIT's football team has been undefeated since 1968.

We have not had a football team since 1968.

My school's football team can never play the number one ranked team because they are not allowed to play anyone outside of our league. That means none of the teams in our league could ever be ranked #1 because there is no comparison. :(

Our basketball team beat the #10 team in the nation last year though and women's lacrosse is #1! (Division III)

Holy crap. College GameDay is coming to Nashville for the first time ever for our game against Auburn next week. That game's gonna be awesome.

We're 5-0! This hasn't happened in 46 years.

(Oh, and my graduate institution is 4-0 also.)
