Lead screw for a paper press

So I want to build a paper/bookbinding press like this:

I've got my own design that's got a few neat features. My main problem however is finding the screw/nut/handle stuff: I don't even know where to look. I want to order ready-made parts online, because custom-making it is too expensive.

The screwing mechanism consists of these parts:
- Screw with handle, about 10"
- Sleeve nut that can be attached to the upper plank
- Endpoint that can be attached to the bottom plank and allows the screw to turn in its place

Anyone here know their way around hardware and can recommend me where to get this stuff?

In the US there's McMaster-Carr.

This man speaks truth. There is a chance you'll have to get the handle separately on that site. Wait, you're in Israel, though?
Are you thinking of square or ACME threads for the screw?

Well I'm also an American with American shopping rights :P I'll get someone to send it.

That site is amazing, it probably has everything I need. I found the screw and the handle (though I'm not sure if they match), but I don't know what to call the part I need for securing it to the bottom plank...

@jep: that's a possible alternate method. thread tags updated
