Anyone else play this solo in Insane Mode? This is what quality gaming is all about. I haven't wanted to throw my controller at a screen thanks to quicksave and crouching health restore in years. <3 Newgrounds.

I'm trying to play through Mega Man 9 without dying once.

I haven't gotten to Mega Man 9 yet, though to be honest, I was always more of a MMX fan. Until MMX5... Nothing after MMX4 was worth playing IMO. Good games though, gotta love Capcom.

People always criticized Capcom of pumping out sequels to games, citing the 6 Mega Man NES games and the numerous MMX series games. But when Capcom decided to do a Mega Man 9, it seems critics liked the gesture, bringing back to those days.

Funny times.

I think the mega man series was great, the mega man X series tried to get too creative and ended up ruining the classic that it was. The only real difference in MM and MMX is Zero and X's ability to gain armor and blaster upgrades. (New 'weapons' in mega man doesnt really count as upgrades. I'm talking about charging up, dual arm blasts, triple blasts.)

Insane mode lives up to its name. I can rape the final boss in normal mode. It's like, YAWN, he dies.

In insane mode, by myself, I have trouble with the first boss.
