Anyone gonna get it? Hopefully this won't be a let down too.

I downloaded the original off of Live yesterday. 6 game days have passed, my character has aged 9 years, and he looks like he could be 40. Something is askew here. Combat and questing is simple but fun enough so far. Have they said anything about how time progresses in the sequel?

I don't know about the sequel, but in Fable original, the more magic one uses, the older one's character appears to be. Also, scars can appear and will remain indefinitely if you don't wear sufficient armour.

My expectations are low, and I'm just expecting a fun adventure on par with the original. Graphic and art-wise, I'm not worried, the team at Lionpants studio have always done a great job with their game.

Content-wise, well, as I said, I expect a fun adventure and character development on par with the first. It can only go up from there, and I'm certainly not expecting everything that came out of Molyneux's maw.

I'm most definatly getting it on the basis that I loved the first one, not on the promises made for features in Fable 2. With that mindset, I doubt to be disappointed, and if I am, its because the game as a whole is a flop.

The character ages a year for every skill upgrade you make, in addition to a year for every year you spend in prison. The maximum age is 60, but you can regain some youth by donating to one of the temples.

Willpower users did get older faster, versus someone who put all their skills in physical combat. I believe it was a 1:1.75 ratio, or something close to that. Also, a good alignment turned your hair from black to brown to light gold, so that could have also chipped into the seemingly aging factor.

Morphs supposedly in Fable 2 :

Purity vs Corruption
Kind vs Cruelty
Slim vs Fat
Rich vs Poor
Muscular vs Skinny
Young vs Old

I'll be getting it when it comes out, really enjoyed the first one even though it was short, it was a good blast while it lasted.

The chicken punting mini game (Lost Chapter only(?)) was hilarious.

I'm looking forward to it, not as a revolutionary RPG, but as a fun adventure game with some neat character customization, just like the original was.
