No. Resize your images. If you really want the full detail, link to the full. Besides, there is no point in showing 1600x1200 on these forums since I have to scroll a lot.

Personally I don't see any problems.

Then again I'm at 1920x1200.

Precisely, you're at a large resolution. I browse at 1280x1024. It makes everything look fugly. Just because it looks good on your screen that doesn't mean it will look good on others.

Anyway to contribute: BEES!

I also browse at 1280x1024. :colbert: Resizing them all really is an awful lot of :effort:, if you've got some magical way to resize dozens of images at essentially a single button click, do tell me.

Then just post links if you're that lazy. But don't show 1600x1200 images.

The first batch of photos is from Rainham marshes on the north side of the Thames estuary. It's former MoD land now used as a nature reserve and tends to get a lot of migratory birdlife.

The second batch is from Richmond Park - 900+ acres of Royal Park. It might look nice but there's nothing peaceful about it, it's directly under the approach path for Heathrow airport and it's full of people and dogs and noisy feral ring-necked parakeets. Having said, that it does have a lot of wildlife, including a fair few rarities (at least for London), and the woods surrounding are gorgeous and far more peaceful.

It's probably a common darter. There's another British species, the ruddy darter, that looks very similar. There were other bright green and blue ones like the Southern Hawker flying about but they never seem to stop for long enough to snap a photo.

I took these photos at various times in the day. The last photo was a taken in the dark (with the night mode w/ daylight white settings on my mobile cam.

Enjoy :).

Cool photos, I like the close-up shots. This is something thats problematic with my camera-phone, it tends to blur up close, but yours are ok :).
