So I'm playing Fallout, in anticipation of Fallout 3, and I'm in the most awful situation. I cleared out the entire The Glow (it's this giant radioactive pit, no spoilers) map, but just as I returned to the surface, I turned on my Geiger counter and realized that I took my radiation resistance pills AFTER I had been severely irradiated. So I'm looking at the readings and I'm like, "2037 points? Is that normal?!" I took 7 anti-radiation items, but they only remove 25 radiation points a piece. If I leave The Glow, I go to the meta-map, and I immediately die.

This blasted game let me do the whole area without having any noticeable effects from radiation poisoning. And just now, when I'm finally ready to leave, I can't go anywhere or I'll die. Does anyone know of a cheat for me to eliminate my radiation points, or maybe teleport on the map to another location? :argh:
Cordially,

I don't suppose you could download a character editor? One of them must either allow you to edit your rad count or add some more RadAways to your inventory.

Also: can't wait for Fallout 3 :D

Eh. Just rack up those rads and hope you break the game by being so radioactive you turn out to be the pinnacle of human achievement.

Unless they fixed that.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

If I'm going to play Fallout 3, I think I'm going to get it for the PC. I can't help think the game will be filled with gameplay frustrations and issues that could be ironed out with mods. Which is an acceptable thing as a FPSRPG seem to be more prone to balance issues due to being more dynamic than a linear shoot-em-up.

It was very much so for Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and the STALKER games (although I'm waiting for some for Clear Sky.)
