i'm looking for a game I used to play frequently as a kid. Probably around the 1998-2001 area. It was a semi 3d sidescroller spaceship shoot em up. I believe it was either freeware or a demo, but I know one of my parents gave me the CD knowing I'd like it. It could just be one of those knock off freeware games that is long forgotten, but if anyone could help me out I remember bits and pieces..
first - it was more in warped or weird type worlds rather then a space setting
second - it was 2d 3d if that makes sense, the shaded 2d that emulates a 3d feeling.
thirdly - I defenitely remember floating eyeball type enemies and possibly shark looking enemies.
fouth and final - i remember when you picked up powerups and new weapon arrangements, there was a guy who told you what they were, using a regular human voice but in a odd almost comical tone.
I know its not alot to go on but I'm just taking a stab in the dark here, I know alot of us have played alot of games in our time.
