It would be fine as a movie trailer, but I think game trailers need more substance. Also doesn't anyone have a TV capture card to get a better quality version of theBIOSHOCK 2 teaser?

You know, I JUST bought Bioshock and finished it today for PC.

It really wasn't nearly as good as I'd hoped.

I already knew it was simpler than SS2, but I still went in expecting something more.
The only real satisfaction I had was the big twist in the middle where you meet Andrew Ryan.
Not only was the game dubbed down as far as system shock two (which I expected), but the story wasn't nearly as complex, only a couple major plot twists. It wasn't really scary, started to feel repetitive at the end (new section, find items, kill enemies, rinse repeat). The Big Daddy's started to get old. Also the ending was really short.

It could be summarized as
"one guy built a city to be free from crappy society. He started experiments to make people zombieish but was sorta a good guy. Then someone else took control from him and led a rebellion. He also wanted control of all the first dude's experiments. You kill them both."

No "save the world." No Shodun. No "this enemy will take over the universe if this other "flood-like" enemy doesn't take over your ship first.

I felt slightly cheated.

It needed 2 more bosses at the end and another hour of gameplay in between them?

Maybe this one won't be as boring as the first.

Or I can just save myself the trouble and wait for someone to write the entire story on Wikipedia and read it, which I did shortly after Atlas died .

Yeah. I really felt no challenge at all from Bioshock, and the story couldn't have been less interesting. I miss games like Monkey Island, where your choice of dialogue actually had a point. :(

Since Bioshock was an incredibly easy, fairly standard FPS that failed so much to follow through on the developers' promises on an engaging game, I honestly don't think I will care as much.

It was a quite a decent FPS and a very beautiful looking one, but so disappointing when the developers wanted us to expect another System Shock 2 and then create one that's even less involving.

I'm waiting for Deus Ex 3. But from what I've heard, it's being developed with consoles in mind. Gee, YAY!

If that was meant to be an exception to the rule that all teaser trailers suck, you fail. That sucks.

No, that was a pretty good teaser trailer.

I don't know what the **** you guys are talking about.

While I agree that the gameplay left a lot to be desired, the story and the voice acting especially were pretty effin spectacular.

Easy!? Even on the normal difficulty, I wouldn't say that. I'm now replaying it on hard with the vita chambers disabled and it's very challenging. The difficulty can be frustrating though as it's mainly down to lack of ammo than anything.

Indeed. It just seems a little redundant now and has lost all impact but that's inevitable really.

For starters, the developers of Deus Ex 3 came out and said they implemented an auto heal health system. Woo...
