I've been playing this for the evening, and holy s*** is it good. I don't think I've ever played a more immersive game in my life. It reminds me strongly of Doom 3, except done right. I love how they made the HUD be holographic displays your suit brings up, and your suit itself. I'm also loving how they don't explain a single thing in cutscenes, and yet you're intrigued enough to keep learning.

Overall, amazing game, totally came out of left field. And it's from EA? Lol que? Anyways, discuss. :awesome:

Thank you Tim Buckley. Truly a master of comedy of the comic form. (SARCASM)

I want to get for the PC. But I never liked EA when it comes to PC gaming ...

Is Dead Space on steam yet
2008-10-17, 6:26 PM #5
Isn't this also on 360?

Thinking about getting it and Fallout3 when it comes out.. my last two game purchases of this year sadly.

I got it for X-Box, but I haven't had the chance to set up my 360 yet.

Comic would be funnier without the last panel.

CAD is guilty of that a lot.

:D wub u 2!!

So I'm about halfway through Dead Space... holy damn is it good. I mean, it isn't tiring at all, I really want to learn more about everything going on, and the monsters are terrifying. Those guys that are just normal humans except all melted together and with the two huge swollen sacs on their back that shudder when they breathe are easily the freakiest thing I've ever seen, with a combination of some humanity left in them and the sounds they make... Gave me nightmares. Oooh, and when you get the kinesis module , the game gets a whole lot more fun. :D It's like TFU, except not impossible to aim.
DO NOT WANT.

Possibly in my top games of all time list, mainly because it combined 3 of my favorite games of all time (Bioshock, System Shock 2 and Resident Evil 4). This game is amazing (I'm halfway through chapter 11 now, gonna wait until night to finish it)

I haven't bought a PC game since HL2. How do you think that will run on a Geforce 6600 GT? :-/

I probably couldn't play this game. I'm a pansy. I can't even finish my game of FEAR. Bioshock is as scary as I can go.
