Powell made the maximum donation possible to McCain's primary campaign last year. This would seem to suggest that he was pro-McCain at one point, wouldn't it?

Anyways, I read a CNN article/transcript about this yesterday and Powell was actually very articulate about his reasons for endorsing Obama.

Uh... I'm actually most likely voting for Obama.

i'm not saying it as a racial thing, I'm just saying, EVERY single black person I have encountered is 100% pro Obama. Thats all the statement ment.

And sorry defenitely don't have the flareout, too broke at the moment to afford that much hairgel on a weekly basis. =D

I have been rooting for an Obama/Powell ticket since Obama first said he didn't want to run for president in 2004. Powell is likely the last great leader of the American People since he was first in politics.

Every single yard in my neighborhood with an Obama sign in it... yes, a black family lives there. In one case a mixed family. Every single McCain sign? Yes. White. :psyduck:

Thinking Powell is sensible is ridiculous. He was the first one of the lot to fall for the 'Iraq has WMDs' crap, but somehow he's the only one that doesn't get flak for it.
