What should I order?
2008-10-24, 3:22 PM #1
My dinner was an epic failure.

I realize the bacon I had is no good.
I messed up the pancake mix and then BURNED the crappy pancakes.
I spilled my bowl of egg guts all over the place.
I spill my beer as I stomp back to my room

So what should I get for delivery?
Pizza?
Chicken?
Chinese?
Try out that Pizza Pasta crap?
2008-10-24, 3:31 PM #2
Italian, Indian, or Korean.

I wish I could order Korean around here :/
2008-10-24, 3:33 PM #4
What's Korean food like? I've never had it nor seen a Korean place.

mm I might go for some Thai.. I dunno if I can get it delivery though.
Right now I'm leaning towards just getting some chicken.. :/
2008-10-24, 3:34 PM #5
Was that your last beer? That would suck!

If so, you may want to go to the store and get some more of that.
2008-10-24, 3:35 PM #6
I've only had Korean food homemade by a friend, never at a restaurant, but I'd like to try.
2008-10-24, 3:38 PM #7
Jedi - Naw it was #2 out of 6.
local.google says there is a lot of Thai places around.. but non deliver. Bastards.
Chinese wouldn't be bad..

Ah crap I think I'll want more beer than 4 more.. I better go now. I'll pick up something from one of the Thai spots.

My dinner got ruined tonight, too, although by no fault of mine. Luckily I had a case of 8 beers I'd picked up earlier and there's a pizza place right opposite my flat. I don't think I'm going to need to eat again for about a day.
2008-10-24, 4:42 PM #11

Amongst other things, Galbee (grilled meat) and various soup/tofu dishes with delicious spiciness.

I hate how the actual burgers are never as good-looking as in the ad pics :( Makes me wonder who gets to eat the burgers they make for the ads. I wish I could have one, just to see if it's any better.

Holy crap I'm having a bad day.
(well this part isn't bad) but as I walk out of the joint I see like 10 cops and a crashed car and smoke about two feet from my car and I'm like crap! well turns out he hit something else. But I had a scare.

so carrying my dinner back and it 'splodes all over me.
My jacket and shorts are covered in stickey gooey something.

The burgers in the pictures are made out of plastic.
2008-10-24, 5:28 PM #17
I heard they hire people to manage the distribution of sesame seeds on the top the burgers. That's why it's so evenly and pleasantly covered in those pictures.

I eat alot of Korean food (gee, I wonder why.) If you have Koreans around your neighborhood, ask around.

yeah im with rob on this one... if its not made out of plastic its probably under cooked and full of toothpicks and glue... either way it would almost certainly not taste good.
Welcome to the douchebag club. We'd give you some cookies, but some douche ate all of them. -Rob

What about the ones in TV commercials that look similarly perfect but which people in the commercial eat thus proving that they are not plastic?

If it's plastic... it's highly convincing.

Yea, because I'm trying to sell you a product and I'm not going to bother try to make it look as good as possible.

But going on that - The commercials obviously use different products than what you.
2008-10-24, 8:01 PM #24
The burger used in the commercial close-up is not the same burger the customer takes a bite out of.

They're plastic. It's part of being an actor.

Which you don't see up close. They probably only hold it together with toothpicks and glue on one side.
2008-10-24, 9:02 PM #28
Well then I want to eat the other side

eat right, exercise, die anyway
2008-10-24, 9:42 PM #30
I love Wendy's

That's not the meal I get though... the classic "Asian" (frugal) meal = A burger, 5x Five Pc. Chicken Nuggets for 99c each, and Drink and/or Fries or some combination of the above.

25 chicken nuggets ftw.

That doesn't sound too frugal, that sounds like around ten bux?
2008-10-25, 8:57 AM #34
Pizza is key. I have a Mr. Gatti's right around the corner, so I don't have to pay for delivery or even expend fuel picking it up.
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

I used to work at a Dairy Queen and if you look closely at the pictures, the sesame seeds are all in the exact same positions on all the buns. They're plastic.

More like six or seven depending on whether or not you get both drink and fries.

Why don't you just ask them to do it for you?
