Anyone getting this game? I've been playing the game this week (didn't open it last Friday due to that whole recall dilemma), and I've been finding the game pretty fun so far. It may be nothing more than a simple platformer, but this is one of the cases where simplicity can sometimes make a game more fun. I haven't tried the level creation mode yet, but I'll probably give it a try once I finish the story mode.

After hours upon hours of screwing around with Garry's Mod and have been level editing for years, Little Big Planet definitely caught my eye. There is a real joy in creation, and the game looks like it embraces that. But judging from the videos, while the game sports a really neat, colorful visual style, the content creation doesn't seem that deep at all. Some people made some neat stuff, but what you can really do looks very limited. Still, I guess you can't really go too complex when you only have a controller.

Then I realized I don't have a PS3.

All the levels you see in the story mode can be created using the creation system.
