So I re-installed Jedi Knight....

... and now I'm wondering: What can I do to make it look better, i.e. not like it was built in the early 18th century?

Specifically: Are there any useful finished / half-finished / working patches/gobs/mods out there that e.g. switch out models for higher-detail versions, switch out 8bit-textures for higher detail 16bit ones and the like?

I'm not looking for gameplay mods / cool levels - I know about those. I just want the original game to look better.

I remember different WIPs on the showcase forum, but I've lost track if there's really something that does actually work and make the game look better.

Cheers,
Goofz

Someone needs to red-do it with Cry Engine 2. (Actually that engine sucks for indoor environments. It's just too inefficient.)

I'd prefer the engine used in Mirror's Edge. :awesome:

UE3 usually sucks. Some people have done a decent job with it, but it's really not all that it was cracked up to be.

Ditto. But with XP. Click "Install" and it just crashes. I tried using setup.exe and compatibility 95/98. (google answers) Still didn't work
Any suggestions?
