it isn't just the one video, its most technical nerdy game dev stuff

i was always bothered by the urban enviroments in MW4 and the ai, looks like its this guy's fault

Pathfinding is not that hard. There's a ton of literature on it. Perfect pathfinding may be difficult, but reliable pathfinding the majority of the time is not that hard. It's that the AI segment of the games industry is a ****ing joke. No one seems to put any time or money into it.

Because 'fake' AI often has better results, with less effort and time. A linear shooter, for example, doesn't need sophisticated AI.
