I've been kind of preparing for Tennant leaving for a while

But he's absolutely right. I think he's leaving at the right time. He left on a very high note and the next Doctor is gonna have some miiiighty big shoes to fill. It's gonna be heart-wrenching to watch the Doctor regenerate into someone else.

Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Originally, I disliked Tennant. Too much a fan of the season 1 doctor, I think. But he's definitely done the role quite well.

As for who the next doctor will be, my knowledge of British actors is so horrible that to take a guess would probably embarrass me.

Well... This can only happen twice more after this before they have to end the show permanently with The Doctor as the lead character unless an entirely new Time Lord takes his place. He can only regenerate 12 times... So there's what... another 12 - 15 years left in the show? lol

They "granted" him a new set of regenerations, and its never said 12 is biological.

A lot of folk seem to reckon it's a Timelord law or summat, and since they're gone I guess he can do what he wants.
