Some of you may know a Massassian named Voodoosnowflake(s). She's posted here on the general discussion board some, but also was an ISB regular. Well, while I don't feel I should give the details on the matter, I know that she's currently in the hospital, and could use all the good vibes she can get.

However, I want to do more for her than just a "good vibes" thread. If you would, I would greatly appreciate it if you can e-mail me an image of your own message and signature (usernames, real names, whatever you want) to me at gebohq@hotmail.com and I'll print them out and print it out on a giant SENDING THE GOOD VIBES YOUR WAY card or the like and mail it to her. If you wish to do more, let me know and we can talk about it.

Please do this ASAP if you're going to do it at all -- I don't want this to be her christmas gift late. -_- I'll let you all know when I'm going to wrap it up and send it off.

I have been battling some really severe depression with delusions and hallucinations. Bad enough that I was an immediate danger to myself and was acting on thoughts and urges to self harm or to try to end my life.

You guys don't know much this thread is a boost for me. It is a reminder that people do care about me even if they don't know who I am or know exactly why I need vibes.

You should talk to me more on AIM or Stickam, we always seemed to have fun conversations.

Depression is a perplexed overseer of the mind. If one falls within it's traps, the best thing to do is to surround yourself with positive influences in order to overcome it. I hope this thread aids you with a source for a plethora of positive influence.

I have a history of depression, although not that bad. I have family who have had similar experiences, so I know what it's like. You know what always helped me? Thinking about what causes depression. I mean, physically. Your brain is literally broken. It feels like your fault, but it isn't. They can prove this with PET scans. :science:

That, and you knowing that people are there for you and all that whatever.

Well massassi went from being a editing hub to being the hud of emotion. Lol indeed. Depression does suck I remember my one severe bout. I still have the 8 or nine 4 inch long, and half inch wide scars on my arm. If ya ever need someone to talk to, I'll listen.

voodoo you do that thing you do so well. i'm glad you're feeling betterish, and hope things turn out well. i also have experience in the issue, and would be happy to talk when i'm available. geb has my contact info and has my permission to give it to you.
