My plan this year is not to go out to get candy... why bother when I can just buy my own and get exactly what I like?

Or even better, get whatever my parents have left over after handouts tonight (which is usually a lot).

It's probably just my memory, but Halloween seems so BLAH now compared to when I was a kid. I don't even see many houses that really got into the spirit. Economy? or maybe its just no longer safe to let your kids run around unsupervised in the dark.

eh i honestly dont think people care as much about holiday "traditions" as they used to. with the exception of christmas holidays are taking more of a backseat... which saddens me. :(

i like the holiday. wish the tv would play more scary movies though. i was not impressed to have to flip through channels (roughly after 12am) and not find a good horror movie, and like only one channel had them on, AMC. like, what the hell.

Going to Ex Parte tonight. It's the law school's Halloween party and it's supposed to be completely insane. $25 for all-you-can-drink/eat beer, wine, margaritas, wings, nachos, etc.

There's also a prize for best Sarah Palin costume.
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

Holy ****. I came home drunk and, sadly, still very much alone, but nevertheless it appears that some people in my section consider me to be the nemesis of our Criminal Law professor. It's preposterous, but it's flattering.

Went to the union with a bunch of mates, got heartily intoxicated in costume.

I am now hungover.

Went to a party. The girl I'm seeing went as Cinderella before she is transformed, and I was her fairy godmother. My costume was hilarious, big hit. I'll post pics once I have a chance to get them off my camera.
