How is it you like alcohol? Gin is nice but so beer is too. I has beer now and french fires. But sausage is good too. Now to have gin tonic. :carl:

In finland the strongest you can buy from a grocery store is 4.7%, so that's the beer i usually have. If i go to a liqueour store, i can buy up to 60%. But the closest of those is 7km away, so i usually settle with beer or what i have. Hm, i could have a gin tonic.

What is "good beer?" I typically drink Ommegang and Unibroue, which is pretty damn up there as far as I'm concerned.

I prefer cider, but I'm partial to a bit of whisky or vodka now and then.

i had cider...after playing (and losing at) beer pong. chugged it. not the most wise thing i could do.

What kind of "cider?" Do you mean hard apple cider, or bottled piss like Strongbow?

I'm drinking a Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale right now, before I head out to Ex Parte. 7.2% ABV, and one of the very best.

And on another note, I don't really care about alcohol, the only stuff I really like are cognac (tastes like an anaesthetic, and anaesthetics were my favorite part at being in the hospital gazillion times), Mozart Chocolate Liquor (the only good thing to come out of Austria lately) and Kirsberry Cherry Speciality (oh Danes, you actually know how to make alcohol taste non-clinical and yet not like a soft drink).

Oh my! I like alcohols only based on their taste instead of whatever social stigma or status they have! THAT IS TERRORISM!

And it's still interesting how someone registers here in January and asks a question like this all of a sudden in Octonovember. It's almost like the time some random dude registered here only to PM me about my subconjuctival hemorrhage and never even replied back. What a loaf.

i dunno it was hard cider like a few years old my friend had. it tasted good though but made me throw up all over myself and i passed out in my vomit. had to work the next day...worked the whole shift too, though everyone could tell i was hurting.

I never acquired a taste for beer. I tried it a few times, and the word "SWILL" seemed to dominate my mind. If I have alcohol (which might be a couple times a year), I go for something light and mild, like wine coolers.

I remember trying hard cider, thinking that it was going to taste great... Man, that stuff was nasty. It was way too sweet and acidic. I'll stick to apple cider when I want cider, and other things when I want alcohol.

Different ciders have a GIGANTIC difference in taste, the trick is to find the kind you like.

That being said I like almost every cider apart from Blackthorn.

You're not still drunk from last night. In order to be drunk the next day you'd have to consume more than enough alcohol to kill yourself. Rather, you're experiencing a hangover with nausea and dizziness that feels similar to intoxication.

edit actually I was just thinking .. no it would be easily possible to still be drunk in the morning. Takes an hour for a drink to clear out of your system right?
