Anyone else think he's getting real desperate? The fact that he'd go on SNL and make fun of himself for publicity seemed kinda pitiful.

Opinions on this/the election?

No more pitiful than a propaganda infomercial blanketing the networks the week before the election. But it's not like he's the first politician to poke fun at himself on SNL and he won't be able to appear on the show after he's elected.

If Bush can manage to survive the 8 years in office as he has, I'm pretty sure McCain could go on SNL and do whatever he wanted and still remain in office. ;)

Pretty amazing feat, too, considering he had to deal with the (already in progress) 9/11 plot at the beginning of his presidency. 9/11 at the beginning and probable widespread race riots at the end. I bet he'll be glad to see the next guy get sworn in.

I'm curious as to what you're going to do when Obama is elected to President this Tuesday, Wookie? You seem to be blindly ignoring the polls that clearly show Obama with the lead across the nation.

Because polls usually only consist of a large chunk, rather than the entire picture.

That doesn't mean he is going to be elected.

That's only part of the problem. If the samples were over a large enough geographic area and were random, they would accurately represent the public's views. But that never happens. Because polls are a sham.
