Well, with the recommendation from fellow Massassians, I bought Savage. Well, I got the patches and it doesn't glitch when I start it anymore. But now I guess no one plays on the in-game server. Wtf? Where do I go to find people who play this game? I don't want to have bought this game for nothing, like I did BF:Vietnam. That was recommended by Massassi too.

The Specialists is a HL mod. Really good, too. Not very played (got a DECENT following), but still good.

BF:Nam was amazing. Don't know why you didn't like it. But they have demos, you know.

I didn't like BF:V because the servers are crappy. More of a problem with the company than the game I guess. And a little more processor power on my part would help.

Nam should not have been released in the state the original version was in. It was just too buggy, and still is after v1.1

Fact - bfv multiplayer sucked because of the amount of detail, i had bad lag with 8 ppl on it, i can have 64 ppl on bf 1942 with no lag at all

I could have 64 people on a Nam server and run it just fine, 1024x768 medium detail. Just fine meaning there wasn't any visible lag. Of course, I only played Ia Drang, so eh...

I much prefered VietCong multiplayer to BF:V, the whole thing was about stealth There aren't many multiplayer games where you can use stealth tactics so well.

I love how the Vietnam multi is so friggin...realistic! I mean you're creeping through the bush, waiting for someone to kill you, with your Carbine out, looking left and right, and you spot a 'charlie'. So you go prone, aim at him, and pow, he's down. Five seconds later, a sniper's caught your muzzle flash, and pow, you're down. So awesome.
