I have an old vent server which has fallen into disuse. I was about to cancel it when I remembered Massassi. So before I cancel, I figured I'd ask you all, would you guys like a ventrilo server?

Right now it's a 25-slot, but if by some miracle it does hit that mark, I'll upgrade it.

The ventrilo server will be open to everyone, have sections for discussion, music, showcasing, and maybe even a "swear and swear alike" channel for those liberal types

I've already got a private vent server, and one I use with my guild in WoW. So I'd probably never use it.

I use Vent and Teamspeak for Eve Online.

Vent is much better than TS.

I've used Skype on occasion and I don't think it's much better.

Skype is more for internet calling / video than for gaming. It's way more useful for making long distance calls to phones for like really cheap.

I would use it.

Keep in mind you don't need to use it for gaming either. I consider it an extension of IRC.
