Don't you think you're being a little :tinfoil:? I can't really see how the American people, electing a president by over a large majority of the votes, and said president being de facto endorsed by pretty much the entire world, can bring about apocalypse. I can see power hungry leaders trying to exert their forces into other countries, which in turn pisses off a whole lot of other countries, as bringing upon the Apocalypse. Or Russia. But not an election of a president.

Jokes aside, I hope the navy treats you well. The navy changed my cousin. He used to be pretty cool, now he acts like he's killed fitty men. Just remember to be humble about everything.

2) It doesn't really matter who has nukes. Whoever does have them will make sure they're aimed at us.

Yeah, but Russia wouldn't be launching them at us, and we wouldn't be launching them at Russia. For that matter, no Arabian country can hit us with nukes right now. They can't hit Russia, either. If, say, Iran, launched nukes, they would be aimed at Israel. And we wouldn't have to launch ours : Israel would **** Iran up. The only way we're going to see a nuclear attack on American soil is if it's planted bomb, not a missile.
The chances now of a situation like MAD ever coming to pass are pretty slim. The countries that have the power are smart enough not to use it (US, China) or have already collapsed (Soviet Union). The danger now comes from terrorists detonating small-yield warheads in major cities.

Um, first of all, Iraq doesn't have nukes. And if they did, they wouldn't use them against us. Second of all, Iran doesn't have nukes either. And if they did, they would use them against Israel. Except they won't, because if they do they know they'll get nuked by us.

US forces in in Iraq and Afghanistan are INCREASING the terrorists numbers. What do you think happens with the the US kills 90 Afghani civilians? Happened a few months ago, 60 of them were children. Recently we just bombed 30 more civilians. We've killed civilians in Pakistan, and in Syria, countries we're supposed to be at peace with. I dunno about you, but if someone foreign country came into Arizona and accidentally bombed my parents house in attempt to liberate us, I would be pretty ****ing pissed. And as many as a million Iraqis have been killed so far, so you can imagine how many people are pissed at us.

All we are doing over there is making them hate us more. Iraq is only sort of stable because we've built walls between different sects and paid the people shooting us to shoot other people. We really need to rethink what's going on over there, and flooding more troops into Afghanistan isn't going to help.
