So...how about that CoD5?

I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised by the single player campaign. I didn't expect it to be as fun as it was. I like the Russian campaign the best. They did a good job of creating tension in the beginning and really capturing the urge for revenge. It was a little bit more difficult then CoD4, frustratingly so at some points. The enemies, especially the Japanese, are grenade whores! Also, was that Keifer Sutherland as one of the Americans?

As for multiplayer, it's essentially CoD4 WWII style. The biggest difference I see is a new mode, War, which is pretty fun. However, I'm not sure if I'm going to drop CoD4 multiplayer for CoD5 multiplayer.

I'd really like to play the co-op part of this game, but it seems there aren't any servers, despite it saying it was collecting information on 175 of them, last time I checked.

I would get this game, but I'm overlooking it for Resistance 2.

I noticed a steep decline of WWII-themed games as of late. I guess the "new thing" to do is make games similar to Halo or something. Still, I can't really get excited. I know gameplay is most important but atmosphere is still very essential.

Looks like a rent.

After playing the multiplayer some, I'm going to stick with CoD4. Not only do I like the modern weapons, but tanks end up ruining the game. At least in CoD:UO, you could have huge tank battles and tanks were fairly fragile against the right weapons. In CoD5, you only get one or two and it takes at least three rockets from an inaccurate launcher to take them down. You spawn with two rockets. Meh.

At least Treyarch is doing a decent job this time. Seems most people prefer CoD4 and CoD2 over the others.

Yes it is Kiefer, and the main Russian is Gary Oldman.

I'm not so bothered by CoD5

This thread isn't Red enough.

I didn't play CoD4, but I am enjoying CoD5. My roommate and I got through the coop very quickly, but had fun, especially with the last two levels.

Why would anyone not use the Second Chance perk? I've gotten so many lucky kills because of it.
