The girl's acting on Mars scares me, but otherwise this trailer just reminds me why I love Watchmen so much. The power struggle, the role of superheroes, the "good" guy complex. "We can save this world."

Did they end up making it a nuke? It seems that way. Sad.

Let's face it, as good as the Watchmen was, the giant squid attacking NYC was a bit silly.

It never attacked, it just exploded. The idea was to blame the attack on aliens so mankind bands together. If it's just a nuke, that entire element is removed. Do you just blame it on one country and wait for them to kill them?

Well, it didn't look like a nuke, to be fair. It looked like some sort of energy weapon or EMP blast, that could easily be blamed on Aliens.

I heard they were going for a doctor manhattan blast. Which they could kind of pull off given that doctor manhattan leaves at the end anyway, just unite the world against him instead of some miscellaneous alien threat.

I enjoy the new trailer, but I feel like they did a horrible job hacking up Take a Bow by Muse.

That'd be dumb, and would totally change the entire story. There'd be no reason for him to be in mars, for there to be a reason to make him leave, or anything like that. No, that's really really dumb. I hate that idea.
