What do you all think about the "New Xbox Experience"?

Apparently I can't Xbox live right now though so I can't mess around with too much. (it was working earlier though)

I want to murder the avatars. I wish I could choose not to be associated with them.

I never understood the craze over these avatars. I never liked Mii's and don't care much of 360's version. I always pick a default one.

The thing I don't like about the online streaming and this new xbox thing - No extras!

And my user name (Came with the Xbox) Super SoakerZ69 for those with SC4 or Halo3. I'm rarely on Live (I have to kill my internet to plug it in to the Xbox) but add me if ya want maybe I can kick your butts in SC.

Most of it is pretty "meh," but the Netflix thing rocks.

Anyone know if you can hold voice chat with MSN in xbox now?

It seems certain movies aren't available specifically for 360 streaming. I wonder what's up with that issue.

I read .. there are only 360 movies available ATM or something like that.

It's a licensing issue with Columbia Pictures (part of Sony). They're working on getting it straightened out.

I must say, the Netflix streaming is awesome. Watched a whole episode of 30 Rock without a single hiccup in the connection or anything. If some random person came in the room and started watching it, they'd assume I was watching it on a DVD.

Installs also seem to be pretty good or useless, depending on the game. Some games I've noticed huge improvements with, others I've noticed no improvements.

Yeah, I watched all of Bigger, Stronger, Faster* with no problems at all. My roommate actually came in and said "When did you rent this?"

I've been using the Roku box for months to watch streaming netflix on my TV. I was looking forward to using the xbox one so I could migrate the Roku to another room, but only a few movies... that bites.

You don't need to "opt out" of the avatars because you can just as easily pretend they aren't there. It's not like it's shoved down your throat.

I especially like Netflix, the speed of the system, and Party mode.

I didn't really check it out that much, I thought it was going to replace gamer tags.. so it's not as bad as I though. But that was the impression I got from 2 seconds of looking at it.
But I'm on right now and yea, it's not that bad. I just thought it was always going to be right next to my name.

Seems quicker than the blades, but other than that I only played with it for 5 minutes then went back to my work
