Best Stargate: Atlantis episode ever.

1. Jewel Staite looks hot
2. Jewel Staite looks cute
3. Jewel Staite makes a strawberry reference
4. Bill Nye
5. Neil Tyson

Talk about the final four episodes left with Atlantis, or the upcoming Stargate Atlantis movie, or the upcoming Stargate Universes.

I almost crapped myself when I saw nye.
And I'm not sure what to expect of Universe. I did not like Atlantis at first, and then my beloved SG stopped, and then I fell in love with Atlantis.
We'll have to wait and see, I hope it just doesn't crash and burn.

The presence of Nye pushed that show into the stratosphere. And he was funny. They should have promoted it, and maybe they would draw more than the measly 1.4 million viewers they usually get.
"Harriet, sweet Harriet - hard-hearted harbinger of haggis."

No, that would have ruined it. You wouldn't have been like "....NYE?!?! Hell yea!!"

He answered my favorite question of all time as a kid. Jumping in an elevator to avoid dying. The egg died.

Goddamnit this is the 2nd week I've missed because I forgot to set the DVR. :10bux: says I miss the next episode because I'll forget to set the DVR.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Can't you set it to always record a certain show?
2008-11-22, 1:39 PM #9
I did. But the DVR got replaced with another one (HD!). I just keep forgetting to set the recording.

8 wasn't that horrific. We still had Jack!

9 was "**** guys! We need a new enemy..uhh...umm...how about...evil Ancients! Work with me guys!"

Atlantis has evil Asgard .

The only thing better than SG-1 is it's primary antagonists, the Wraith. They are the best villains ever.

Barely. He was a desk-jockey. Isn't that when that idiot from Farscape started too?

I remember the Goa'uld being serious villians that really did seem like they weren't gonna be beaten. I also remember the Ancients having the air of a mystical race that you'd only find mere legends and some scattered remains. Now THAT was some excellent Stargate.

Now the Goa'uld are all but dead. Humans are mooching off of Ancient AND Asgaard tech and Earth seems to be the Local Group's superpower at the moment.

it was the scene with all the "physicists" trying to solve the problem and Bill Nye (who I didn't know who he was until I saw this thread) along with McKay...

McKay : Watch who you're correcting science guy, my PhD is not honory.
Bill Nye : Hey look, I'm an engineer, I can do math!

that made me laugh out loud.

also all the randon equations they stuck on the board with anything remotely related to thermal physics.

Nye (jumps in trying to help Keller stop the scientists bickering): Like I've always said, people are more the same than we are different...
Keller: Nye, not now.

I will begin the flameware by saying not only did Jewel Staite NOT look hot, the dress made her look fat.

There. It had to be said.

The brain is the sexiest part. And what a brain he's got - nobody can dispense random facts about elementary science while reading from a script like he can!

That placard's lame. The 5 should be a 3 for flammable liquid. 5 is the number for oxidizers. Because of this, your opinion is wrong. That is all.
