I remember reading somewhere that you could choose certain parts of songs to import. This would be awesome seeing as though half of my favorite songs are secret tracks and I'm tired of scrolling through ten minutes of dead time to be able to hear them.

Anyone know how to say, start importing a song at exactly the 6 minutes and 49 seconds into a song? (If anyone can name that hidden track I'll give you ten billion GBK style cookies... hint: scottish band)

mp3 splitter (url: http://digilander.libero.it/mega27/mp3split/ ) is pretty good too. No where near as powerful as Goldwave or Soundforge (how I love thee), but it cuts mp3s wherever, so it does the job you are looking for.
