I felt we should have one of these for people who may be interested. Post how your favorite team is doing.

UF is 11-1, beat FSU 45-15 in Tallahassee, and is playing Alabama in the SEC Championship on December 6th.

Begin discussion, peasants.

UNH made the playoffs and beat Southern Illinois in the first round! They're FCS but they're D1 and my favorite team!

The FBS should have a playoff too.

I agree, especially since the BCS has the faults that it does. The only problem would be due to the huge number of teams the season would have to go on for a really long time to make it fair.

FAU fan here:
[http://www.sun-sentinel.com/media/photo/2008-11/43652410.jpg] That's my cousin plowing the guy on a onside kick. He just graduated though, so I guess I'm not a FAU fan anymore.

My favorite team Penn State, will most likely be playing USC in the Rose Bowl :). Should be a good game

Before the season started I called PSU vs. Alabama in the national championship. I'd say I got pretty close, haha.

BSU. Undeafeated!

Too bad Utah is also undeafeted and ranked slightly higher, so they'll get a BCS bowl while we get either the humanitarian bowl against Ball State or we're headed to San Diego.

My alma mater is going to their first bowl game in many, many years.

Yay for being the only private school in the SEC...

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ROLL MOTHERTRUCKIN TIDE BABY. WOOO

12-0. WOOOO

*cough* Bama alum, life long Bama fan.

I have tickets for the SEC title game. I'm pumped. Doesn't look good for the tide but then again it didn't look good in '92 or in '99. :)

Florida's best shot to get in the BCS championship game is to play Alabama with Alabama being undefeated and #1, and Alabama's in if they win. It should be a good game Saturday. I'm trying to ensure I have nothing possible planned at 4:00 PM.

**** Oklahoma. The voters are out of their minds and the computers are worse.

How did computers even get the right to vote?

Well, after the fiasco that was the Michigan-Nebraska shared national championship, with at least one of the voters dropping Michigan to third or worse in order to ensure Nebraska's position, I can understand wanting to have some objective element in the decision. But when the computers don't work, that argument kind of goes out the window. The computer average had Oklahoma as the #1 team in the country. Yes, the computers put Oklahoma ahead of Alabama, an undefeated team in a conference that's usually college football's toughest. That's a ****ing joke. And who pays the price for it? Texas, the team that beat both of the teams playing in this year's Big 12 championship game.

It's a disgrace, and if Oklahoma beats Mizzou this weekend (practically a given), as far as I'm concerned some other bowl will be the real national championship.

And this is why I don't follow college football, just NFL. Too ****ing confusing.

Wi was absolutely terrible this year, they should never have been ranked. Just absolutely piss poor performances all round. I was on the Texas Tech bandwagon for a bit, hoping to see them in the title game but that went down the tubes thanks to Oklahoma, who is screwing Texas over mightily, for the record.

If trends have held up, it's now second only to professional football in popularity.
