whjen you are drunk out of your mind like some people, how do you secure your keys?

I put them in my neighbors mailbox and call them. I abhor drunk driving so I refuse to be one of them.

I leave them in my hotel room. I don't get drunk at a bar unless I'm already on vacation, and then it's a hotel bar.

Usually I get them back when I pick my car up from the impound after being released from jail.

I walk or take public transportation when I go out drinking. No exceptions.
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

I crash at friends' places that are within walking distance of the bars or where ever we're partying.

I walk...
that way, on my way back, I can walk myself back to soberness, chuck up anything on the way back.

Although its been a month since I've done any drinking.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Anytime I've done any significant drinking I've been within walking distance of where I was staying.

If I'm going to be drinking at home I just leave my keys on the coffee table and, you know, not use them.

Otherwise I'm out drinking, and leave my car key at home.
