I'm pretty sure they used to make those and sell them commercially at one point. But the description on the item says it's custom, so I'm somewhat confused. This doesn't seem like the first time I've seen something like that in lego anyway.
Sneaky sneaks. I'm actually a werewolf. Woof.

I thought he was whoring himself again when I read this thread title

That so is not worth $175.

If someone buys it for that much they should be required to punch themself in the balls.

I mean, it's cool, I liked it when I first saw it... but $175? Totally no.

Certainly an admirable piece of LegoArt, but I'd be afraid my butterfingered actions would lead to its destruction. Also, while it might be a good icebreaker at nerd slumber parties, it isn't very visually appealing--I could print out a picture of Darth Vader on a dot matrix printer and it'd be roughly as visually appealing.

Seriously, forget about selling it, you could get that accepted into a museum of modern art

I wouldn't under-estimate the craziness of eBayers when it comes to LEGO....nothing ventured = nothing gained. My LEGO store has been so successful I quit my job to focus on school and pay the bills strolling around the house in my slippers shipping and receiving.
