What star wars game?

Should I buy Battlefront 1 or 2? For the PC this is.

What are your fav Star Wars games?
2008-12-05, 11:07 PM #2
My favorite Star Wars game is probably Republic Commando.

Umm... KOTOR? If you don't already own, buy it. Unless you hate RPG's.
Nothing to see here, move along.

I hated KOTOR xD

My fav is JK still. But Battlefront 2 is pretty sweet.

To be fair, most SW games after the release of maybe JO were kind of crap to me.

So you would pick battlefront 2 over 1?
I have a week to decide, there are no demos for these games :(

Just get the "Best of PC" pack from LucasArts.

I love rpgs, I love Star Wars.
I hate KOTOR.

Don't know why... I found it better than most Star Wars games. How ever everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

I'd get battlefront 2.

No point in getting battlefront 1, battlefront 2 is just battlefront one with more maps and things to do. Oh, and it has playable jedi.

I've yet to play KOTOR, but mainly because I don't think it's on XBox.

My favourite so far is still JK, but I really enjoyed the Force Unleashed.

(I know, that makes me weird)

nah I agree Martyn.
The JK series is my favorite, but Force Unleashed was definitely fun, just too short, easy, and focused on force.

-oh, and KOTOR is on xbox

KOTOR is on the X Box, and I can't imagine it on any other console or the PC. I played it on the X Box, and its one of the best X Box games I've ever played, next to Halo I and II. I have yet to play Halo III for myself. All I have done was sample multiplayer at a friends house.

I'd assume 1? Its always smart to buy the original game first, not the continuation.

Battlefront 2 isn't really a continuation, its more of an expansion. Its the original battlefront, but with more content.

After playing TFU I need some hardcore jedi action so first off I am getting jedi Knight 2 and 3 and plan on playing the hell out of em. :D

As for the battlefront games I been thinking that I might as well buy both of them off ebay. This way I wont loose.

KOTOR just didnt have enough action and when there was action I didnt feel in control. I didnt even like mass effect. If anyone wants to trade Mass effect for JK2 outcast I am chilling with it. The copy still has 2 activations left.

You don't understand how a turn based RPG works do you?
KOTOR is not a button masher, its actually a game that requires planning and strategy.

Did you even finish the game?

There's a difference between not understanding and not liking RPGs. KOTOR's not one of my favorites, either.

I'd take TIE Fighter over any SW game. (Or at least the TIE campaigns converted to XWA)

Battlefront 2 is basically Battlefront 1 v2.0. You got more features and such (2 has space combat, I don't think 1 did).

X-wing alliance is a pretty good star wars game (If you enjoy flying sims)

If you want ground based stuff, Repbulic Commando and Battlefront 2 are good choices.
