Does anyone remember this old game? It was laughably easy, but it was still kind of fun.
Does anyone else here still play it occasionally? It has to be patched to work on winxp.

Never heard of Yoda Stories...

Now I feel left out.

But really, does anyone have a link that could inform me further on it?

The demo.

Some guys memorial page.

I only ever played the demo, myself, and it was kind of fun. Something I could waste a few minutes in front of every now and then.

Yoda Stories was great!

I loved it, I only had the demo though...

I used to love that game, I played it all of the time. I heard somewhere that there was an Easter Egg of Indiana Jones somewhere in the game, when you found him Luke said something like "You look like my friend Han!" I never did find it after about 600 games.

I remember Yoda Stories, I think I beated all the different missions. The lightsaber was weak though, you couldn't deflect laser bolts.

you need the patch to get it to work on winxp. (it replaces a dll and an ini file) I'll upload the fixed files soon.

That game rocks so incredibly much. My older brother and i played Indy /all/ the damn time for so long, then we got Yoda and we were amazed at the technology increase [i mean he can get up to his neck in snow And Tauntauns!]

There was one random encounter we hit, once, only once, in all the years of playing it, that involved using the force to bend a series or crystals or trees or something, but we had to quit and never found out what it led to! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/mad.gif]

Also there is some Top Sekrit Developer's Mode which i've never been able to figure out how to access [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

I got the demo working, and I just finished it. It was cool. Though the movement and combat were kinda iffy.
BTW. I've been working on an engine sorta like this for gamemaker. I dont know if anyones interested but maybe we could make a Massassi game?

I have the full version. Got it for free by sending in something to Lucasarts, I think it was UPC of Tie Fighter or something. I had forgotten about sending it in, I was like 8, but then it came awhile later and I was like "Woah, it actually worked".

Yeah, I need that patch to run the game cause I get same error. Did someone figure out how to run the game on XP (Like this isn't an official patch) as on support.lucasarts.com it says Yoda Stories just won't work on XP.

*shrugs*

You have to change the wavemix32.dll to a newer one, and same with the Wavemix.ini

Wasn't that the point of the game? Have fun for around an hour and don't waste all night playing a game?

Plus, Yoda Stories had a "BossKey" where you could press a key to make it minimize...

Yeah, it's not a big deal, but to a kid who is supposed to be doing his "homework" the MomKey (as it was retermed by myself) was a wonderful tool!!!

I used to have Yoda Stories. I loved that game. Hmmm, I'm not sure where the CD is now, I may go and hunt it down; it was the first ever game I owned on a PC (before that, I used Acorns), and my favourite game when I was about 9-10 or something.

I like the fact that the CD came with cursors and icons to use on your desktop.

Thanks a bunch Pagewizard!

It now works! *cheers*

It's a fun game just to play while downloading something, or just wasting not too much time. Cheers!
