Huzzah!

The tag is still youtube

PS: the video has swears. but it's awesome.

Do I fail the test because I want to F*** her?
(and hopefully this is not some stupid internet thing were it turns out to be a guy)

That being said, I just watched 10 seconds of it on mute.
2008-12-09, 10:18 PM #3
No, I was testing to see if the widescreen youtube tag worked. You're dumb.

Should I make it bigger?
2008-12-09, 10:24 PM #4
Seems fine to me.
Though I will through out that it seems it could be slightly wider. What ratio is it? (Seems like it is less than flatscreen TVs) That could just be the fact that I am buzzed now. But again, seems fine. But it's possible it could be wider, that's all.
2008-12-09, 10:26 PM #5
It's 480x295... it's the default size Youtube puts in the embed code.
2008-12-09, 10:35 PM #6
Well that's about the same as the standard 16:9, right? So yea, I guess you're test worked. (Being a *new* default right? Previously it was all square, or am I crazy? Just you throwing out 480x295 as standard throws me off lol)
2008-12-09, 10:38 PM #7
shes such a *****! i love it!

am i gay for liking her music?

No, I didn't just make up those dimensions. The default embed code youtube has (at least for widescreen videos) is:

Code:
<object width="480" height="295">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/q-wGMlSuX_c&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x234900&color2=0x4e9e00"></param>
<param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param>
<param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param>
<embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/q-wGMlSuX_c&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x234900&color2=0x4e9e00" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="295"></embed>
</object>

Hmm
Cute girl, sexy voice, song about her being a*****
All that sounds pretty hetero appealing to me.

I'm confused lol .. you're "testing" something...What arre you testing?

Well maybe it was just on this forum (I don't browse other forums, as such never seen embedded youtube)

Previously to this new Youtube HD thing, all youtube things have been square.

So is this a Massassi thing or a YouTube thing?

Or is it something completely different?
2008-12-09, 10:57 PM #12
its massassi updating its youtube tags for the new youtube HD thing.

Our current youtube tag is fullscreen (which will letterbox widescreen videos if you try to post one)... I added a new tag so users can post widescreen videos. The test was me seeing if it worked.

Yay! Thank you!

I think the green should be darker, though.

I took the tag, and redid it in the actual widescreen youtube resolution and also made it play in high quality mode. Also made it the default Youtube tag, and deleted youtubew. And changed the green color.

(And I really wish you would have asked before you did this >.>)

that dress is a disaster.

Yeah, well you would never have done it if I hadn't done it first!

MZZT brought it up before and I said when they start giving out widescreen embed codes I'd change it >.>

Well I would hope so, or it would be downright BAD.

You forgot to add the color tags to the <param> as well as the <embed>. The color won't work in some clients that don't support <embed> without it. (Internet Explorer?).

[Edit: Hmm, looks like Firefox 3, IE6-8, Webkit, and Opera 9.6x all use the <embed> tag... do we even need <object> any more?]
