His "speech" was rehearsed, the FBI has better things to do than chase down college kids who steal (what a novel concept!); a laptop that "important" would not be left laying around unattended; and even were it all true, there is still no way of determining (based upon the information given) who the culprit is - only where the computer was turned on. I suppose if it were a specific dorm room or address it could be inferred, but that's only circumstantial and in no way convicting.

Okay then how about this video? I just found it... it is indescribably and simultaneously hilarious and disturbing. Watch the whole thing... the best parts happen between the middle and the end.
