What media player do you use?

I use WMP, but I'm looking for an alternative that is faster and more efficient at organizing music. So any recommendations? I'm also curious as to what media player has found the favor of most Massassians.

Winamp was my typical choice before getting Zune Pass. I use Zune software now. Winamp's still the best general player really >.>

VLC as a last resort (Subs are terrible)

Windows:
Winamp for music

Winamp for music and Media Player Classic - Homecinema + CCCP and/or AC3Filter and/or some Intervideo sound codecs (from my copy of WinDVD) for Dolby Virtual Speaker on certain movies.

MPC-HC's internal DVXA support is awesome for H.264 video on my HTPC. Subs are great, too. HD MKVs have never looked/sounded so good >_<

I use foobar2000. It is by far the most powerful and customizable music player for any platform. Nothing really comes close. And since 0.9.5, the UI is easy to customize. It doesn't require hours of effort and sifting through documentation like it used to.

it still requires the same effort for some things

especially if you go from an earlier version and want your old custom buttons to work... i had some great buttons on 0.8.3

I've never understood what you really need that level of customizability for anyway.

Hey I'm playing a song, I want to customize it so it plays louder

Hey I'm playing a bunch of songs, I want to customize them to play in a random sequence

Seriously though what are things that you do with foobar2000 that you can't do with other music players?
