Meh. Looks more like an Elektra kind of comic book movie rather than an Iron Man kind of comic book movie.

Also, Storm should be in Africa still at that point. Xavier found her when she was a teenager. :colbert:

This actually looks like a good movie, and I'll probably see The Avengers too when it comes out. Makes me sad I only read Spider-Man as a kid, I have no idea about the history of anything going on. I should try to read some comics, but it's probably all way too much to read to catch up on.

Yes but, Captain America and Wolverine fought together in WWII. I still don't understand why Wolverine and Captain America weren't in the opening of X-Men.

Been looking forward to this for some time...

This is a good trailer, compared to the rushed piece of crap the dragon ball trailer was (the real one).

EDIT: Oh wait... the new trailer is actually good...

Captain America won't be in it due to license issues. Sony has the rights to X-Men at the moment and Marvel Studios retain the rights to Captain America. Originally in the Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man was suppose to make a cameo appearance in that one end fight, but Sony wouldn't allow it.

Same. I had friends that were into comics but I never was. Now I'm interested but pretty much just watch the movies. Whenever I want backstory I go on Wikipedia. You're right about it being way too much to read now, it's unreal how far some of these characters go back and how much they've changed along the way. Even just reading about this stuff on Wikipedia takes hours if you really want to see how things connect and get a sense of it.
