I know some people here used to play it, I've always wanted to give it a look-in, but only recently got dsl.

Is it still worthwhile or has the community gone to crap? I tried looking for a free trial last night, but it seems they've been stopped. Any recommendations?

Hah. By now I'm sure it's all but dead. I remember they had major population problems and that was like 5 years ago.

They've probably merged servers by now but you probably won't get the massive battles you used to. Also, they screwed up the game totally with the expansion. :\
