yup... though this brings me to one of my favorite lulz of rpgs in general is when creatures like wolves and such drop bits of armor or weapons and the occasional bit of money

I just got a WoW Trial account. It's ok, but I don't see what the big deal is about. Then again 1/3 of the features are disabled, 1/3 have glaring problems which really irk me, and the other 1/3 is a mix of OK gameplay and standard repetitive MMORPG (get item/kill thing/go place quest times 100).

Okay guys, I tried really hard to find the screenshot from SF_GoldG's MMO, but I couldn't find it anywhere. But can we all agree that it would have been pretty much hilarious? :awesome:

i got my swg character, Kioet' Csuhen...from Starsider. I'll eventually resubscribe..it's been since august. I can play for 6 months at a time before it gets boring. :)

currently unsubcribed...and probably won't be resubbing since they updated spy. i'm a bounty hunter, so what's the point in hunting something that can just go invisible at the last second and piss me off and cost me a mouse/keyboard/computer desk? not worth $15 a month. and they need to fix the GCW and add more rebel/empire battles, none of this lame meatlump themepark b.s..

well, sure it sucked after NGE then they did expertise...and that was OK until they did the ****ing armor breaker stacking, which made BH the weakest link. pre-cu sucked anyway. (if you were against being jedi) at least now there's tons of things to do. (beast master, crafting, space, collections, storyteller, gunships, instances) the only thing i really liked and miss about pre-cu was the ability to mix and match profession skills.

well, they do suck. your time away from better games. i missed out on ALOT of good games while i was on my SWG addiction last year.

I played them alot in highschool when i had too much spare time, but once you have a fulltime job, its pretty much perma level 10 in any mmo.

eh not in my experience...i once had 2 accounts running at the same time, and working full time...2nd shift FTW.

SWG has got alot better, Have you not returned for the Battle of Hoth yet?

I never thought I'd see it but its a hell of a lot of fun.

Also free server transfers to boost population of SWG servers will soon be starting (Jan 13th) as well as the new Apperance Tab coming soon. The A-Tab is unique to any MMO I know of as it means you can wear say a set of ugly uber statted armour then use the apperance of clothing and look different.

Even jedi will be able to wear what they want whilst still effectively wearing robes.

but the ugliness is how uber-statted armor is supposed to be balanced. In other mmos you had to use trade skills to modify the appearance at risk of destroying the item.
