The first renders are always terrible. They don't really shape up until later.

The PSP Battlefront isn't Battlefront III. That game came out months ago.

The "company making it" didn't simply go out of business by accident, they made a horrible game (Haze) and they couldn't even buy good reviews for it.

Moreover, the Battlefront series itself is hardly very impressive, despite what over 10,000 fanboy comments on Gamespot would have you believe. In face, it's pretty crappy. If it were possible to do the space sequences (Really, the only noteworthy piece of Battlefront 2, and even then it was crappy) in a SW mod for a Battlefield game, I would rather play the mod, even if I had to pay for the mod like a random mod for Half-Life or Source.

But those character models look really good. Especially the young Han Solo.

The only real strong aspect of the Battlefront series I thought was the amount of enemies/allies shown on screen. Of course, then you realize majority of the AI aren't doing anything (ie. just standing there). It's definitely a Battlefield series-rip off down the core without shame, but probably what annoys me the most is I can never find a lag-free server to play on.

To be honest, it would have been cool to have many NPCs onscreen AND have them actually DO something with the help of better processors on today's systems.

But when will LucasArts stop trying to make us relive the movies...

battlefront series could've been better...i hate when you shoot and it doesn't seem like it's connecting with the target.
