While I do think the series has gotten a bit ridiculous as of lately, early on this show was pure awesomeness. Even though they've tried to go too far with crazy plot lines, I still enjoy it. It used to be like "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I WASN'T EXPECTING THAT." and now it's just like "Yea, big deal."

The last season didn't really have a true villain, and I enjoyed it less so because of that. But we'll see how this season turns out. I must say though, I totally did not expect Julia to get shot, or Sean to get totally stabbed. (I did think that crazy women would do something, but not that)

I'm excited too. My wife and I just finished watching seasons 1-4 and the first part of season 1 on sunday (we finished seasons 1-4 about a week prior, and had to wait for season 5 part 1 to release.

Also, tonight's episode is the kick-off for part 2 of Season 5. There are 8 episodes remaining of this season. There's an additional 19 episodes scheduled for season 6, the final season. Season 6 is set to be split into 2 parts, much like season 5 was. The sixth season is scheduled to end in early 2011.

The final episode of season 6 will mark the show's 100th episode.

[Edit] Also, if the end of the previous episode (and apparently the beginning of this one) had BETTER not be a dream sequence... I hate dream sequences. They are such a waste of viewer time, and kill any potential for me to trust or enjoy a show any more.[/Edit]

Yea, well I still liked it then, it got crazier after that which is what I was alluded to in my first post.
