In Bad Taste?

Like many of the people here, I am a fan of xkcd.com, the web comic.
This week's xkcd - Keynote while I found it very clever I couldnt help be feel that it pushed the limits of bad taste. Just wondering if others feel the same way.

It's ironic, because I am no fan of Apple computers.

Steve Jobs is really thin because he has nutrition problems due to hormone imbalance and people were worried about his health / that he was going to die or that his cancer had come back.

It's in moderately bad taste, but no more so than your average internet discussion of the news

That said, I didn't laugh

I read Cyanide and Happiness every day, so this didn't really move the needle.

The tooltip punchline redeems it.

Not in bad taste at all, neither is it funny.

Steve Jobs having menopause is funny, however.

I think it's funny because it's ironic, it seems that apple tries to create small thin devices, now so is the CEO.. how is it that not funny? :(

It's a little funny. I didn't laugh out loud, but it got a smile from me.

It was a "heh" laugh. xkcd has lost a lot of its pizazz.

XKCD can be pretty hit and miss. The one before that is absolute classic XKCD gold. This one, however; well, you just have to realize that the guy who draws them really, really, really hates apples.

I love XKCD, but it's been a lot more miss than hit lately. I went back through the past 40 comics or so and was really surprised by how much less funny it is.

Not in bad taste because the real reason Jobs lost so much weight is because of pancreatic cancer. :XD:

Why did the cancer victim cross the road?

He was hoping to get hit by a truck.

Same here. And the tool tip got a bigger smile.

But it's not in bad taste at all.

The Macrumors live feed got hacked by 4chan. At 9:34 AM, "STEVE JOBS JUST DIED" hahah

Later it was "Steve Jobs is GAY HOLY S*** COCKS"

And by "hacked" I mean "logged into the admin control panel that had no password." :XD:

I don't think that it's in bad taste since reportedly he's on the road to recovery now.
