So I've fallen in love with Street Fighter 2 again since HDR came out. Yesterday while off work with a bad back I played it for approximately 5 hours almost none stop.

The other day I pre-ordered the Special Edition of SFIV from Amazon for £50ish and just now I have ordered a Hori Fighting Stick to the tune of another £50. In fairness I've been after one for ages but Amazon say they take 1-3 months to deliver however I just stumbled across one (and one only!!) from a re-seller with 97% positive reviews and tens of thousands of reviewers who say they'll have it to me by friday (EDIT monday to thursday next week, which is still awesome).

OH YEAH BABY!

This means I can finally stop shunning the shotokans because I'm too spack-handed with the 360 analogue controller to do Dragon Punches every time! Hooray!

So ... er... yeah, any other SF2 afficionados out there with desires for decent hardware?

I completely adored SF2:Turbo when I was younger, but I have not have a chance or the money to try out the 360 version yet :9

I absolutely loved Street Fighter. I had II:CE for Genesis, Super Turbo, X-Men vs Street Fighter, and all Alphas. Way more satisfying than any Mortal Kombat....

I can't play street fighter very well unless I'm using a d-pad.

OMG it's arrived at work today. It's awesome.

Nice and sturdy, gives satisfying clicks when you move the stick and generally makes me feel great. Bring on Street Fighter IV!

At 19:30 I will still be at work, probably until 21:00 GMT. I fear I'm not gonna make it to the xbox before 23:00 GMT-ish, though at which time my LIVE and hopefully Street Fighter HD would be downloaded.
