Now that 2008 is over, it's time to hold everybody accountable...

(Rare picture of CoolMatty ;))

Many of us made resolutions in 2008. Did we keep them?

Good, I didn't post in either of those threads. I'm not accountable to anyone, not even myself!

- Run the Copenhagen Marathon
No (I had an exam the next day, was too busy partying to train :carl:)

- Keep a consistent journal
No (this never works :( )

- Succeed academically while abroad
No (not at all; the Danish grading scale did not translate well...)

- Make a positive impression during my summer internship
Yes :hist101: I'll be working there full time in August!
Continue beautifying my car. There are still some sworls that I have to get out. It may take the power of a rotary to do it. The elements have not been kind.

Things wanting done to car:

1) New set of rims
2) Tinted windows
3) Perhaps some performance enhancement. Cold-air intake and what not.
Only #2 happened with the Scion tC (I had the Cobalt at the time of posting). I've had some leads on getting rims but they fell through. I'm going to install a short-throw shifter on Friday for the tC. First mod of the car.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Man I posted in both! [edit - jesus that got long, let me consolidate]

-Get on track with blood sugars
NOPE

-Rock my junior recital
Well I did a fairly good job on the recital, I'll say that

-Control my eating habits: invest in gum and hard candies
Nope, my eating habits are still wildly out of control

-Get an internship!!
Yep, I was Marketing Supervisor at Six Flags America this summer

-Find jeans that fit
Yes, actually. Well for the most part anyway. And I never thought that would happen

Arrange new and more interesting music for my a cappella group/ whip my a cappella group out of the sorry state we fell into
Well I arranged the music and did what I could. Progress has been made. We started to slip back again but I think we'll regain the ground

survive through the semester relatively unscathed and pull off this semester with at least a 3.5 GPA
Done

My mission editor for TIE, XvT and XWA still isn't done, but I went into that knowing it'd take forever.
I'm always finding excuses to make various mod utilities for the X-wing series, I'll no doubt add more to the half-dozen I did this year.

Lucrehulk's on indefinite hold.
I'm very close to the initial XvT release for the mission editor, TIE's been "done" for a little while now.
Yeah, I'm still making small stuff, and there's another on my to-do list.

But scott did make friends with girls (like actual girls with boobs and everything)... so that counts for #2 I say.

I'm still thin.

Studying: nope. though I had a volunteering interview yesterday and the woman who will be supervising me said that to get in to my chosen field I will definitely need a Masters, so I think I'll be applying to start in September. I'm sort of dreading it, just because I hated uni so much last time round, but hopefully that was just due to my own stuff going on at the time and it won't be so bad now

Climbing: well I did get back in to it a bit, though not as much as I would have liked. the comeback was interrupted somewhat by me leaving my job though.

Outdoor climbing: nope, didn't make it. though I did make a point of mentioning it repeatedly to the people that I would be most likely to go with, but they weren't up for it last year

Move out: yes, in fact I moved 300 miles to a whole new city. but it helped somewhat that my boyfriend already lived there

all in all a pretty poor performance I'd say!
