Court shows are a scam... people agree to appear on them and get insulted because they don't have the pay a thing, even if the judgement is against them. The tv show agrees to pay any fines imposed by the "judge." Thats why people on the show take it so willingly.

Possibly the best Judge Judy episode ever.

AND WTF... that is... like the most retarded defense ever, "you get what you pay for, says photo only." If I had gone to court for something like that, I'd rather just confess than make an *** out of myself.

Not exactly. The appearance fee may cover small rulings, but not the larger rulings. And people "take it" so willingly because they are morons who are convinced that they are right.
