The inverted type!

I got invited to the Quake Live Closed Beta. I also have 5 4 3 2 invites to give out to others.

Let's have a contest. If you want in, post your e-mail address, and a concise reason why I should choose you. The judging criteria is... whichever ones I like. Judging TIME will be at my whim as well... possibly in a few hours if I get enough posts by then.

They also want me to put First Names, Last Names, and "FPS Skill Levels" but I suppose if you don't supply those for me I can make up a name and put "Beginner" (if you specify, there's also "Intermediate" or "Expert").

Also some system requirements: Windows, and IE or Firefox are required. It downloads and installs a plugin (on Firefox, probably an ActiveX component on IE) which in turn will download several hundred megabytes of Quake 3-style data to your C drive. I also imagine a computer capable of playing Quake 3 will help.

Right now the ads are just banners of Quake Live. Haven't played it much because the framerate suffers a bit on Windows 7 (yes, even this game... gonna boot back into XP soon) and it's difficult for me finding a game with a low ping (you can't tell until you join, and a VA game gave me 300).

You guys suck, I'm giving one to one of my REAL friends.

But I have regular Quake 3.

Judging from posts, alot of people seem to have the id software super-pack from Steam.
