I've been playing CoD and I got to the British mission at the dam where you have to blow up some generators and some AA's. But for some reason(i think it's cuz of the water) that level gives me about 1 fps(and I have all the graphics settings to their lowest). Does anyone know a instant level win code or a level skip code or something?

Wow, I didn't have any trouble with framerate in the dam level. That sucks bad [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

The officers were hard to find. You have to just keep on looking. They are usually hiding behind something, or waiting next to the building. When I did it, I think the later ones didn't come out until I killed some that were there already. They generally stand there and wave their hands instead of shooting at the enemies.

If it's an ATi Radeon, the new drivers are woot. They give me 10 fps in almost all games I play.

they give you 10fps in every game?

They don't sound that great to me [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif] (Well i'm still on 3.7 and see no reason to upgrade them until I have a problem.)

As far as I know, the developers of CoD didnt implement any cheat codes in the game. They made some official statement at one point that there were no cheat codes that would work in the final version, so you might be out of luck.

The game is no longer on my hard drive, but I'm sure you can use the console to skip to any level you want.

Try:
map xyz
/map xyz

The mission following the dam is the truck ride. Either ask someone here for the level code (in the load game screen, there are autosaves of every level as well as their names) or find the map names in the Call of Duty directory (might be in .pak files, open with winzip or winrar, edit: look for .bsp files).

EDIT 2:

Try
/map truckride
/map truckride-1

There 2 officers in the trenchs and 1 that like sorta in the building there guarding, I had troble spoting that one too. Make sure your in that sniper spot in the building to the side of the trenchs.

Im a real man, i beat the game on very hard first time, wait till you get to the level where you have to defend the apartment building. Hardest level in the game. If you go all the way to the top of the building to snipe, if you stay there awhile a bomb will drop on the top, then you got a few tanks blasting in the walls and all the troops flooding up to where you are. I played that level 1000000000000000 times. I prity much finished the level with 1 health.

No... There is tons of cheat codes, and they work.

I didnt know about those... when the game first came out, the cheatcodes that had worked in the demo didn't work in the final version... and everyone was trying to find codes that worked but no one could. It was a big issue because it really looked like there were never going to be any codes that worked.

If that level gives you FPS trouble, uh, have fun with the first Soviet mission.

Holding that one building in Stalingrad = hard. (playing it set on 'hardened' that is)

Yeah, the pavlov mission. That was by far the hardest mission for me. Apparently there is one room that the germans dont usually search, and keeps you protected from tank fire, but I have yet to find it.

Same here. I quicksaved about a half of a second before a tank shot into the window and killed me, so I had to restart the whole mission again. All of your teammates die within the first 5 minutes. That level is just frustrating.

I stood at the top of one of the stairs, would blow away the guys coming up, run behind me and shoot down the opposite stairs and did the same thing over and over again. I had to play it about a million times before I found a strategy that worked. I also took out all of the tanks as soon as I could. They seem to be troublesome.

The mission that was hardest for me was the last mission of the game, the one with tons of enemies and no health packs... I probally quick loaded 30 times

CoD brings me horrible memories...
I downloaded the 170+MB demo with a 56k--YES a 56K....Then guess what...IT DOESNT WORK!!!!

MUST.......BREAK............SOMETHING................BREATHE....breathe..breathe. ok, sorry. Its..JUST....THAT......oh never mind.

The error says something about ARB_Texturepack something I dont remember or care (it has to do with my ATI video card). If I want WWII I can just play DoD for now.

EDIT-YES YES its my Bth post number!!

I play MP all the time, but I remember the number one commandment of Call of Duty Multiplayer

You shall have no other mode of play before Behind Enemy Lines
