Do you like hide the nerd glasses when you have friends over?

I think a sure fire way to never get any is when you show a woman a nerd beer cup.

Because I drink "The End of the World" I thought it was necessary that I type this post all in French. If you do not beer "La Fin du Monde," I present an image. Mr. Emon can tell you more of this beer.

Not bad, Google Translate.

I think having a glass like that is more likely to /increase/ your chances, simply on the basis that a woman is either going to be nerdy enough to appreciate the glass, or be completely indifferent to the glass and thus pass no judgement. Looking down on nerds is so last century.

Dalf, you need to pick up Stone's Cali-Beligique. One of the most interesting IPAs I've ever tasted.

'Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout'

Got a knife and fork handy?

Actually, all you Calissassians do yourself a favor, go to Ft. Bragg and pick up some Old Rasputin XI. If you like stouts at all, you'll pretty much cream yourself when tasting it.

I drank it last night. It was actually kind of amazing. There are so many great English beers that I'm just now discovering.

Samuel Smith is by far the best Samuel in beer. The Sam Adams Imperial Pilsner is pretty solid though. It's one of the few lagers I can really enjoy.

Today's beer is the Double-Wide bottle-conditioned IPA, from Boulevard's Smokestack Series. Pretty good. Yeasty enough that it almost reminds me of a Belgian IPA like Chouffe Houblon (or, I'd guess, like Cali-Belgique).
