jedi knight weird crosshair glitch

I don't know if anyone can help me with this but I got these weird dots when I enable the crosshair in jedi knight. I don't have them if I switch to any of the "normal" 8bpp resolutions, only when using the 16bpp ones

Try a 4:3 resolution.

Also try upgrading your video drivers.

I've found that JK is pretty much unplayable under Vista (I can't get it to run in anything but windowed). Others have had varying levels of success. What OS you running?

Pretty sure windowed GUI counts as playable...

I'm using windows XP pro SP3 and a 8800 GTS 640MB. I tried pretty much every resolution and it didn't change anything

The game is too old. I remember my geforce 4 did the same.
